The Fund is an independent fund established by PhonepayPlus (formerly known as ICSTIS), which is the premium rate telephone industry's regulatory body. It provides compensation only at the direction of PhonepayPlus in circumstances where live conversation telephone services have not been conducted in accordance with the rules in force for their operation.Steven Conybeare was appointed trustee of the Fund in 2000 and he remains responsible for its general administration including funds of £0.6m.Consumers: If you are a consumer with a complaint about a premium rate telephone number, then you should contact PhonepayPlus as we cannot assist you directly.
